  • Beach Runners is a pickup and delivery service focused on personal beach equipment.

    We offer two ways of service - Quick Runs and Advanced Orders.

    Quick Runs - Runners will be posted near public beach access sites in Grayton and 30A. You can see their live locations and availability inside the app. The Runner and will initiate the order and take care of carting your equipment down to the beach!

    *Advanced Orders - Customers can also book a Runner pickup in advance. This must be done 2 hours in advance. This service allows users to order a Runner through our app to pick up their personal beach equipment and deliver it to the public beach access of their choice. The Runner will set up their chairs to reserve their spot in the requested time frame and stack the rest of the beach gear neatly in the same area.

    *Customers also have the ability to order a Runner pick up from their beach location. The Runner will come retrieve their equipment from the beach and bring it back to their place of residence. This must be done 2 hours in advance.

    *Distance limitations may apply.

  • Everything is done through our free smartphone app, available on iOS and Android platforms. You can advance order a Runner to come pick up your gear at your location (condo, beach house, etc.) and deliver it to the public beach access of your choice. Advanced orders must be placed 2 hours in advance of your desired pickup time and distance limitations may apply.

    We will also have Runners located near designated Public Beach Access points in Grayton Beach and 30A, during the Spring and Summer months, that can take your gear from the parking lot to the beach. You can find their locations and availability inside the app.

  • No, we are not a rental company. Our Runners will only pick up your personal equipment.

    • Beach Chairs

    • Beach Bags (holding towels, sunscreen, toys etc.)

    • Umbrellas

    • Tent (small or medium sized)

    • Cooler(s) that do not exceed 50lbs.

    • Beach games (if they are packed correctly and can be easily carried - not multiple loose items)

    • Boogie Boards

    • Fishing Equipment

    • Items need to be at a size and weight that can easily be handled by one person.

  • (Coming Soon!) Beach Runners is only servicing the public beaches of Grayton and 30A in Florida with plans to expand along the Gulf Coast. The available public beach accesses are featured inside the app.

  • The Runner will set up your chairs to reserve your spot. They will place your other items neatly beside your chairs.

    At this time, Runners do not set up tents or umbrellas due to safety protocols.

  • Your cooler should be 50lbs or less. A good rule of thumb is your cooler needs to be 37 quarts or less.

    If you are unsure of the weight of your cooler and you want to ensure your Runner will be able to handle its pickup and delivery, we suggest dividing your contents up into two coolers. If the Runner is unable to safely pick up your cooler, they will notify you that the item was left behind due to weight.

  • We allow basic beach items like towels, sunscreen, hats, koozies, frisbees, snacks, etc.

    We strongly advise against placing valuables of any kind in your beach bags (Ex. cash, electronic items like bluetooth speakers or headphones, any personal items like a purse, wallet or backpack).

    The Runner will not check the contents of your bags or cooler. Please note, once the Runner has completed your setup, your items will be left unattended at the beach.

  • The Runner will drop a map pin at the setup location and will take a photo of your beach area. The map pin will direct you to the exact location. Once the Runner has completed your run, they will mark your order complete and leave the beach area. You will be notified of your order completion by a push notification. You also can check your order status at all times inside the app.

  • NO - for advanced runs - once the Runner marks your order complete inside the app, they will leave the beach to go and retrieve their next order. Your items will not be guarded, so we recommend coming to the beach with your Runner or shortly after you receive the completion notification.

    *We strongly advise against placing any valuables in your coolers or beach bags.

  • The Runner will select the best spot available on the beach during the time they are delivering your beach gear. Public beach accesses are first come, first served, so the earlier in the day you order a Runner, especially during peak season, the better.

  • Yes! If you are pleased with your Runner’s performance, we strongly encourage you to tip! You can tip directly with cash or you can tip them inside the app after you complete your order payment. Please note that 100% of your tip goes to the Runner.

  • Users can book a Return from Beach trip in the app. We recommend booking a couple of hours in advance.

    If you have a tent, you will need to take it down and have it ready for the Runner to transport. The Runner can fold up your chairs and take down your umbrellas.

    Please note - all pickups must be complete before sunset. No exceptions.

  • Yes, you have the option to cancel your advanced order inside the app.

    If you cancel your run 2 hours or less before pick up time, you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. The Runner will receive the majority of your cancellation fee and the rest will go towards the processing fee.

    Cancellations come at no charge if done 3+ hours before your scheduled pickup time.

  • Yes, you have the ability to reschedule your run inside the app up until 3 hours before your pickup time.

    If you reschedule your run 3+ hours before the pick up time, your run will be broadcasted out and placed back on the job board for another runner to accept.

    Rescheduling your run 0 - 2 hours before your pick up time is not allowed. You must cancel the run and you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. A small processing fee will go to Beach Runners and the remaining balance of the cancellation fee will be transferred to the Runner.

  • There might be a time when a Runner will have something come up and they will have to drop your run. In the event this happens, you will be notified via a push notification of the cancellation.

    If a Runner cancels the job 2 hours or more before the pick-up time, the job will be broadcasted back out to Runners on the schedule and pushed back out to the job board for another Runner to pick up. This should allow enough time for another Runner to grab your run.

    If your run is not picked within the hour before your scheduled pick-up time, you will be sent a push notification and given the option to reschedule or cancel without any cancellation fees.

  • The app will recognize that your run has not been started. Please follow the prompts. We will ensure that your run is rescheduled as soon as possible or you can cancel the run without any charge.

  • Unfortunately, things happen. If you’ve had a bad experience while using our service. Please let us know by emailing us at info@beachrunners.com. Please include your name, contact information, the date of your run and the order number. We will do our best to make it right.

  • Keeping our customers and our Runners safe is our top priority.

    Here are a few ways we encourage safety:
    - Each Runner must pass a criminal background check before they are hired.
    - The Runner and the customer’s phone number will remain private while communicating through the app.
    - Contactless pickups and deliveries are an option to provide a safe and easy experience.
